VS Code setup — Era documentation

Add this entry to project .vscode/mcp.json. The key is requested through a hidden input when the server starts; preserve other inputs and servers. Enable the server’s tools in the agent chat that will use Era.

Prepare the key first

Complete Apps → MCP in setup. Match the example origin to your own card’s URL.

First read

List Era tools. Find Demo customers and summarize only.
Do not change records; include identities and sources.

Check client connection state and the actual records_find result. Update and reconnect after rotating the key. Role/module checks are enforced on the server; do not repeat waiting approvals.
