What should I ask Era to do first?
Check your workspace, open New chat and request one outcome: “Summarize this week’s leads by status and next step.” Attach a file with + if needed. Inspect the result and completed operations; review approval cards for sends or removals.
Where do I find older chats?
Open Chats → See all in the sidebar. The five newest chats appear there; the modal provides search and All / Mine / Team / Waiting filters. Check the active workspace too; conversations held by an engine outside Era need not appear here.
How do I ask Era without leaving my list?
Use Era above the page or Ctrl + . to open the side chat. On supported lists, select rows and choose Ask Era to put record context in the composer. Review and send your request. Closing the pane keeps the list open.
How do I attach a file?
Choose the file through + in the composer, then explain the task. You can remove its card before sending. Ask to save outputs to Era Files when you need them on other devices; a local path alone is not a shared file.
What does mentioning an app with @ do?
Selecting an app or agent from @ attaches a reference to the request. Typing its name as plain text does not attach that reference. The app must be connected and accessible to you; a mention does not grant new permissions.
Can I send a second message while Era works?
Supported chats queue the next message until the current response finishes. Send now can steer the ongoing work, and queued messages can be removed. Messages with files or agent references can behave differently from plain-text steering.
Does Stop undo completed changes?
No. Stop ends the ongoing response; it does not undo completed record changes or retract a sent message. Inspect results and the turn report. Repeating a write just because the connection dropped can duplicate it.
Why is Era waiting for my approval?
Access to a record can permit the operation while sending, publishing or removal still needs your decision. Read the target and operation on the card, then choose Approve / Decline. Do not restart the waiting call; check its actual outcome after deciding.
