Chats and results

How do I open Era beside a business page? Use Era or Ctrl + .; select rows and choose Ask Era. See pane.

Where are all chats? The sidebar shows five newest and See all. The modal has search and All / Mine / Team / Waiting filters. A local engine conversation outside Era need not be the same server record.

Does Stop undo changes? No. Check completed writes and the turn report before retrying. See chat.

A file link fails. Check that the file was saved to Era Files. Unsaved local cache files cannot be read on other devices. Name matching can open the newest file of that name; use IDs for important files. See terminal files.

Subscriptions, quota and provider billing

Why ask for a key when I have ChatGPT? Subscription sign-in and API keys are separate sources. Connect/select your ready subscription; API billing is separate. See sources.

Why does Google's card say Antigravity? Antigravity is the Google subscription engine; Gemini model names remain unchanged.

Connected subscription, but memory does not run? Check Brain and Search memory use switches, computer availability and quota. See memory.

What happens at a plan limit? Read the stopping reason and inspect the connected provider quota and connection. Explicitly choose another source if needed. See sources.

Why is background work waiting? An eligible source, required desktop connection or provider quota may be unavailable. See usage.

Who bills AI usage? Your connected subscription or API provider. The Era workspace plan is a separate service. See provider billing.

Members and access

Did Members disappear from Settings? It moved to People → Members; roles remain in Settings. See members.

Module on, but page unavailable? Check your role's read access. Enabling a module does not grant everyone all permissions. See roles.

Why does Full access still ask? Money, external messages, deletion and explicitly confirmed actions have separate checks. See approvals.

Why is money missing from my report? Personal report grants can hide measures or narrow rows. See report access.

Desktop and integrations

Signed into Era but Claude/Codex is unavailable? Sign into the provider separately and inspect installed engines/use switches. See local engines.

Computer shows offline? Check Desktop is open, connected and paired. Re-pair removed devices. A web device record cannot switch the computer on.

era not found? It is added to the active Era engine session PATH, not every system terminal. See CLI guide.

Connected MCP, but agent cannot see it? Select the server in the agent's Apps & tools. Desktop external-engine pairing is a different MCP connection. See Advanced.

Webhook accepted but no result? 202 means event acceptance. Workflow listeners and jobs are separate. Repeating with a new idempotency key can duplicate work. See API/webhooks.

How do I identify a missing feature? Read the relevant guide's limits and changelog. These guides reflect code from 14 October 2026; live accounts, installers and payment services were not exercised.
