Memory, knowledge spaces and forgetting
Teach facts, search their sources and forget outdated knowledge.
Memory stores business facts, preferences, rules and procedures you do not want to repeat in every chat. A knowledge space groups documents and sources. Web: Memory, /brain. Desktop business navigation opens memory for the same connected account.
Before you start
Forgetting does not delete source documents or chat history. Check the knowledge audience separately.

The one Add in the header pastes text or drops files. Apps such as Gmail, Drive and Notion feed the brain through Apps; there is no separate source wizard. Brain settings holds knowledge spaces, who uses the brain and privacy. Rules (a discount limit, protecting customer data, asking before spending, or your own sentence) go into every turn of Era and every agent as hard limits.
Teach and forget
“Remember this: check the delivery date before sending a quote.” Explicit instructions can be stored immediately; when Era proposes learning itself, the Remember card asks for a decision. Teach Era offers a knowledge-space choice and Keep it private. Previously rejected learning should not be imposed again.
“Forget the old delivery-time rule.” Era asks which one if several match. Forgetting does not automatically delete chat history or the source document. You can also ask it to stop using a skill.
New brains and preferences
Choose a name, purpose, relevant Era and team when required. Understand meaning on my own computer uses desktop/cloud-computer processing and cannot be changed later. Preferences include information types, Ask me before remembering, selectivity and retention in hours for applicable brain types. Voice brains provide short-lived knowledge for quick call answers. Check which brain you are archiving.
Search and relationships
“What delivery terms were in last month's quotes? Show the source.” brain_search returns sourced snippets, optionally narrowed to documents, chats, research, connectors, notes or workflow runs. brain_graph shows people, companies, products and offers, or the shortest relationship path between two names. A connection alone does not prove a commercial claim; inspect its sources.
Access, cost and automation
Personal information is private to you; module information is limited to that module's readers; workspace information follows workspace access. Search and graphs preserve these boundaries. Chat learning and insights may run in the background on your subscription. Work waits when an eligible source, required computer or quota is unavailable. See sources and privacy settings.
